Ivory Events couple Amber and Dan met at a Jewish fraternity Christmas party during their undergraduate college years at The College of William and Mary and continued their love story to Washington D.C. Amber and Dan moved to Denver, Colorado last year and Dan proposed to Amber after a 3.4 mile out and back hike on the Royal Arch trail near Boulder, Colorado. Ivory Events helped Amber and Dan find the perfect venue for the #destinationwedding. They wanted a mountain view and a modern looking venue which they found in Skyview at Fall River Village . After being rescheduled due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, they tied the knot at Skyview at Fall River Village this year and their day was beautiful and the views were magical. After opening in the summer of 2018, this new and contemporary venue near #estespark, Colorado is a premier event space and a local new favorite. Guests can enjoy a vacation of their own as this property has 3-4 bedroom luxury mountain town-homes and 60 riverside two bedroom condos. With an open-air roof canopy, Skyview at Fall River Village Wedding and Event Center allows guests to enjoy the outdoor space in all seasons, and in all potentially inclement weather conditions. A rooftop ceremony is also available for ceremonies, allowing guests to take in all 360 degree views of the Rocky Mountains.
The local farm and small business focused floral team at Best Day Floral created Amber and Dan’s contemporary and elevated floral design. Farm-to-table focused caterer Sugar Pine Catering served salads, chicken, steak, and cannelloni plated dinner with a champagne toast. Signature cocktails for guests included a margarita and mojito and a well-curated locally brewed and distilled beverage menu.
The wrap-around deck at Skyview at Fall River Village Wedding and Event Center allows for a scenic and seamless cocktail reception after a ceremony and before a formal dinner in the reception area. Guests can easily move from one area to the other. Skyview at Fall River Village Wedding and Event Center also has a community room where guests and wedding parties can gather for preparation or even a post-wedding brunch.
