Whiskey Business provides not only a first class tasting, but a whole whiskey experience. They start by discussing your current whiskey likes, dislikes and what it is you would like to explore. Based on that conversation Whiskey Business will build you a personalized whiskey tasting. They will include selections you are sure to enjoy as well as step outside your whiskey norm and try some new and exciting picks. On this journey of tasting we will also provide some insight into the history of whiskey and bourbon. Think of it as whiskey 101. Feel like you’re already at the whiskey 101 level? No problem, they will kick it up a notch and bring the knowledge you’re looking for.
Cody Riggs got her start by randomly ordering a whiskey at the legendary Stanley Hotel Cascades Whiskey Bar and instantly falling in love with the intense flavors. After a summer of hiking in Estes Park and hitting the Stanley bar after each hike, she developed a friendship with the bar manager and their friendship quickly grew into a mutual love of all things whiskey. Over the next two years Cody threw herself into learning as much as possible about this wonderful spirit, while also training her nose and palate to become a master taster. She trained with Jimmy, the Stanley bar manager and learned how to lead tastings. The rest as they say, is history. She’s been leading whiskey tastings ever since and continuing her whiskey education.
